My tank is doing great. I think I can see the growth in corals from day to day.
I need to replace my light bulbs, they are now 16 months old.
The nuisance algea is now noticeable but manageable.

Guest is missing

Last weekend I purchased a six line wrasse to help with a small snail problem.
After reading up about them and their potential aggression , I made the move to buy one.

So, I get the tiny fish home, and I start acclimating it. After about 1.5hrs of adding water bit by bit, I transfer the little guy in the display tank.
As soon as it is in the water, all the fish in the tank go on high alert. Intruder Intruder, it's as if I can hear them say it. My purple pseudo is the one that started chasing the new fish. It finally settles in one of the lower corners in the tank, and then it disappears. I looked all over, tank, overflow the sump, behind the tank etc but no sign.
It's been a week and there is still no sign of the new guy, I have to assume that it has perished.

Everything else in the tank is doing great.
